BioWhat is there to say, I am coming late to this livejournal thing and am not quite sure how I'm going to take it. This journal exists because I got sick of replying anonymously to other people's journals. As a rule I am a highly opinionated pain, politics to the left, can rant for hours on health care issues and public health in particular. When I do become a fan I tend to fall heavy and become a ridiculously devoted fan. I'm currently only really active in one fandom online but am flirting with a few others. My primary fandom centres around James Marsters. I came late to Buffy but was entranced by Spike and then after seeing James in action at a convention became even more entranced by him. I'm not one for gossiping about his private life or trying to second guess his career but amuse myself greatly by going to his conventions and gigs and enjoying the fandom highs. Other interests include David Simon's work in general but specifically "The Wire", Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert and the mixed fortunes of the English cricket team. So, if there are posts on this journal they'll probably reflect one or several of the above and if there aren't it means I still haven't really got the hang of this place.
